Our Advanced Services

These services are for those organizations that wish a deeper dive into software product development. These types of services are called “advanced” because they require a deep commitment on our part and yours. These are the engagements that offer the most interesting perspective to us because we get to see your team’s change over a length of time and you get us committed to a longer road than otherwise. We often find that these types of engagements emerge from simply taking a training course or seminar from us.

Seeded Teams

For organizations wishing to jump start teams with highly skilled people who have been there and done that. We offer a combination of coaching and skilled dedicated talent by working with our partnership network. Our goal is to help you set up and reap the benefits from hyper-performing teams.

Tools, Tools, Tools

Managing the work for distributed teams is hard. There are so many tools out there that offer a plethora of features. We prefer tools that are not trying to be the "Swiss Army Knife" of tools. As a result we have established relationships with ScrumWorks Pro and other specialized tool providers. Please contact us for a consultation on setting up teams with tools and how not to fall prey to the "One tool Does All" approach.

For select projects, 3back staff will engage long term and put our “boots on the ground” with your staff. To engage us in this type of work we will need to have preliminary conversation to see if a match of resources, talent and desire exists on both sides.

Delivery Mechanisms

If this is delivered presented to a large audience (50+) then it would be classic presentation with light Q&A encouraged throughout.

 

Our preference is to break this up into small group discussions (5-7 at a table) and then shift back to larger group summary. This format allows participants to personalize the information presented with a stronger feeling of value. One presenter can orchestrate this well only for groups less than 45. 

 

Ideal, would be to add a co-presenter for delivery. Then we would demonstrate agile behaviors through an interactive dialog and we could handle a larger number of people with small group discussion break out  and large group summary (60-70 folks with small group discussions and large group sumamry).

 

Groups larger than 70+ would be done via a lively interactive dialog with the  two presenters and light Q&A from the audience.
